General regulations
All clarinet players born after July 1st 1982 are allowed to participate in the competition.

The participants will be chosen by a Jury, please send a recording along with your registration form including the following works:
C.M.v. Weber: Concertino Eb Major op 26 for Clarinet and Piano
C. Debussy: Première Rhapsody pour clarinette et piano
To your completed registration form (here as pdf) please add the following documents:
a copy of an official document showing your date and place of birth
your artist picture in postcard size or as jpg
a short curriculum vitae including your artistic cv
your program for the competition
the CD
Only a complete registration sent on in time will be accepted. We will not return the material. Documents must be written in German or English.
The invited participants will be informed between 15th and 20th of May 2012. The piece written by Kaiija Saariaho will be included.
The invited musicians have to confirm their participation by sending the fee of 150.-€ „spesenfrei für den Empfänger“ not later than June, 10th 2012 to the following bank account
A reimbursement in case of non attendance is not possible.
The jurys decisions are final and unimpeachable. Lawsuits are exclused. In any doubt the german rules on the homepage of the competition are valid.
On request there will be piano accompanists and chamber musicians for the competitors. Candidates with their own accompanists and/or chamber musicians will bring them on their own costs. There will be a fee of € 200.- if you request an accompanist or chamber musicians and then bring your own, or if you announce your own accompanist or chamber musicians and then request one.
The program you send in is binding. You cannot change the program later. The organisation of the competition has the right to record the rounds and use the recordings without paying a fee to the candidates.
